January 2020 update

Published on: January 2, 2020

Last month I accidentally deleted Jessica's page on this site and because I didn't have a backup I couldn't add it back. So today I rewrote the page with some new text and a quote from the interview I did with her earlier. You can see the new page here.

Happy new year!

November 2019 update

Published on: November 15, 2019

Roughly two weeks ago I announced changes to the Curvy Shrine website (see previous news post) which have now been finalized. Besides some new graphics and uninteresting backend work that I won't bother you with I have published a new plus-size model page, this one about the beautiful Jane. You can find Jane's page on the also new Plus-size models index page (listed on the Menu page at the very top) which lists the current plus-size models featured on this website.

As mentioned in the previous update a number of pages have been deleted. Other pages have either been updated or renamed. Most of the existing pages have also been shortened, reflective of the way I wish to go forward with this website, which is less text and more visuals.

Other than the 3D virtual shrine aspect I wish to add at some point, my main focus at this time is to feature more beautiful plus-size women on this website, in line with what I originally set out to do.

October 2019 update

Published on: October 30, 2019

Going forward, the Curvy Shrine website will only feature pages about plus-size women with photos, accompanied by their website and/or social media links, and some of my musings and/or poetry about them.

Other content, such as pages about the discrimination of plus-size women, plus-size art, plus-size dating, plus-size activism, frequently asked questions, etc., will no longer be covered and I have deleted the existing content pertaining to those and other topics as well. Focusing on those other areas not only is too much work for me, it honestly doesn't resonate with me anymore; I just want to focus on showcasing plus-size women. I feel that if I do that - and that alone - that I will achieve the main goal of what I originally set out to do - which is to foremost promote plus-size women - and I'll have my hands full with that too.

I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the various articles, stories, interviews, etc. over the years. Your contributions have been invaluable, and they have been seen by many people around the world and have surely inspired them! I hope you understand and respect the reasons for deleting this content and I wish you the best in your future endeavors!
